Each year, the Society organises a programme of events including a one-day international colloquium on recent archaeological fieldwork in Sudan. Papers are delivered on work undertaken in Sudan (usually) over the previous winter, along with others of a more general nature.

The 2025 colloquium will be held on Saturday 17 May at the Institute of Archaeology, University of Cambridge.
